Diane Dewey is a jewelry designer based in San Francisco. She brings her New York edge and her Midwest down-to-earth warmth to all her creations. Diane has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Loyola University of Chicago with an emphasis on metal art. Diane worked with designers from Chicago and San Francisco for many years. She began designing her own line over a decade ago.
Most of Diane's designs start with carving shapes in wax. Diane then uses the "lost wax" casting method to create unique 14k and 18k gold jewelry. "I like using the blackened chain with some of the necklaces. The black contrasts make the gold elements pop, and also make these pieces feel fun and not too formal."
