Royal Fez Necklace | AX-MENA
Description
Inspired by the beautiful Royal Palace Door in Fez, Morocco. The Royal Palace or Dar al-Makhzen is the royal palace of the King of Morocco in Fez, Morocco. The palace is not open to the public, but these doorways give a small taste of the magnificent architecture of this beautiful North African city.
The Royal Fez necklace was inspired by the largest central doorway, which has huge gilt brass doors decorated in geometric patterns surrounded by beautiful blue mosaic tiles and carved cedarwood.
The design of the Royal Fez necklace is intended to resemble the middle doorway’s oval/dome shaped top half (represented by the oval citrine gemstone) and square bottom of the center doorway (represented by the blue aquamarine) with the 3 bezel set blue diamonds coinciding with the largest 3 doorways in the middle. The gemstones and gold color were carefully selected to symbolize the dominant yellow and blue colors in the central doorway.
